Cheers! As of this morning's stability patch (12/23/03), seems they also took the time to fix the 3D ring issue on the ATI cards. My 9800 pro card now shows the 3D ring the way it is supposed to be. Woohoo, thanks sony!

Just to clarify why ATI cards seem to have a harder time working correctly with EverQuest is because EverQuest was optimized for the NVidia chipsets. and GPU are that much different.

It still don't work on my system. I have the Mircosoft chip set.

If it still doesn't work try deleting any custom targetindicator.ini from your custom ui folders and see if the default ring shows up. If not, your graphics card may not be supported..
