Well I didn't so much as remove the EULA screen as just modify it......

to only include one button......

that covers the entire screen

On a side note since its the only element in the window, hitting enter accepts as well as clicking anywhere on the screen.. I'm so crafty!

At times, I have used EQ Windows to 2 Box on an account. Now, since the change in the front end interface, it will not let the mouse release to click on anything. So, in effect, it is blocking EQW from working at all. I have to log back out, and just go in by the ole fashioned way and play, which puts a damper on the 2 accounts I sometimes play. Anyone else have this problem? Or maybe even a suggestion for a fix? Im sorry if I have /hijacked this thread. Just figured since everyone else here was talking about the new lead in, maybe they had some ideas of fixes also. Thanks all. Gugaz

Senjuro A Bat Join Date: Feb 2003 Posts: 1	you should be able to run 2 copys of eq even without eq window, just disable sound, turn off high end models, low resolution and low detail, if you have a machine thats 1ghz or higher with atleast 512mb of ram you can run this setup with no lag.

I did all that. Except the eqlsPlayerData.ini part. There's no line in there that references the EQLSUI.xml file, and I'm unsure what text I should insert.

Sorry for being so dense, I don't play with XML much and and very unskilled in it.

Loading EQ, see if it works.... -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Only got the EULA Accept button, no Decline.... And there's my custom login screen. Cool. Thanks for the guide, Parasite. It's only my first attempt.

Which completely defeats the point of eqw.... eqw manages memory and handles MUUUUCCH MUUUUCHH MUUUUCCHHH smoother than SOEs lackies have programmed.. i have 2gig processor, 1.5gig of ram with a 256mb g4.... i can 3 box NO PROB on one pc... but without eqw i cant even run 2 instances of eq.. /rude soe

Two things that Parasite didn't say in his instructions that caused me some problems getting the custom login backgrounds to work. 1) In the EQLSUI_custom.xml you need to change: <Include>EQLSUI_Animations.xml</Include> to <Include>EQLSUI_Animations_custom.xml</Include> 2) In the EQLSUI_Animations_custom.xml there are two(2) locations for each of the background files. They both need to be changed to the custom image names.

And on another note - not all users get the new login UI - girlfriend is running EQ from some boxed package of SoL and she havent gotten the update. She is still running the old version of the login interface. A real nasty light blue looking thing.

Anyone else experience anything like this?
