try renaming or removeing the file EQUI_LootWnd.xml from your custom mod folder.

OR

got here: http://www.eqinterface.com/patch.html and preform the EQUI_LootWnd.xml modifications.

but now...i get that ! damm it's a joke or it will said all my file are bad one after one ?

Default Having some oddities occur...

Okay, I use Vert CM, most recent version.

This morning, I did all the suggested edits to the xml files, per the patch fix thread.

(To get around the pet window , I simply just didn't edit it, seems to work no problem)

At first I had a problem with /camp actually crashing me to desktop once I should have gone to char select.

Replacing the /bug report window fixed that (Don't ask me why, or how, because I do not have a clue )

NOW...for some reason, I get an error message when I zone or log in, about some files not being compatible, etc etc. My boyfriend, uses the same version of Vert that I do, and he copied my changes to the letter. Yet, he does not get this message. Checked UI error text in my files, and only find something from the 8th of December, so I do not think that is it.

(If you want me to post those, I can, but after replacing what it said, nothing changed /shrug)

The second problem I am having is : The song window won't save position. I have to manually fix it to what I want it to be, in game, each time I log in. I haven't had this problem with any other windows. While it's not terribly bad, it is annoying.

Anyone have either of these two occurances happen, and know how to fix it?

My Vert 2.2 CM worked well till 1/9 patch . Cant use it anymore and crash to default . The Error txt and files are :

I tried adding the xml fix to the selector window but it crashed me

got rid of 1 error.

still have

Ok, one thing i am noticing...

some windows are not included in the orginal Vert 2.2 such as the loot window.. this file SHOULD NOT in the mod unless you added a custom file from someone else.. i see two options

1. you added a custom mod from somone else
2. you copied your default folder first, the one thing we say NOT to do

soo your choices are..

1. contact the author of the custom XML file that you added to vert
2. download and install Neptune/Nexium/CM/Cana from the website correctly then reinstall patch..

#2 above would be the first thing i would try if this patch does not work. I spent 3 hours on the phone last night helping a buddy trouble shoot his mod, and come to find out he has been running vert 1.1 not 2.2 and didnt realize it. (will smack him when i see him)

we will keep patching for those that none of this applies too... dont worry to much..

Default What does this error mean and how do you fix it?

The error i get is "Could not find child <something> in <whatever.xml>

specifically

[Fri Jan 10 14:47:07 2003] Error: Could not find child StandButton in window PetInfoWindow

[Fri Jan 10 14:47:07 2003] Error: Could not find child ClassAnim in window InventoryWindow


I'm using the vert 2.0 bashed that i have gotten working with the patch, except for these errors. the mod still loads but i get a warning when i log in.

Any help would be great.

Thankx for the quick patch.....
I can not get the Shordurationbuff window to show up at all in vert mod...
When I click the music note emblem on the selector window it depresses like a click but does not stay highlighted in yellow and I dont get a bard buff window.....
I have tried Alt-E to bring it up but nothing happens there either..
all other changes in the fix seem to be working fine...
When I bring up the patched Mod in SidleWidl it does not show the EQUI_Shordurationbuffwnd at all. However when I bring up the Default folder in SidleWidl it does show the EQUI_Shordurationbuffwnd also when I run the default UI in game I get the bard window.....can someone help me please?
I am posting my entire mod so it can be checked...
