Unfortunately you can't do a prename... anything short of doing something like that would require getting a name change. So your best bet is to make the name Fewmaster first.

Just be warned that is infringing on copywrite TOS at Everquest Live Character Name Policy

10. Fantasy-oriented names that are easily recognized from popular existing media (e.g. Merlin, Gandalf, Belgarath, Drizzt, Tanis).

Names where the combination of the first and last name violate a previous rule.
For all of the above, misspellings and alternative spellings of the word or words are also unacceptable.

I think the GMs would agree that SANTA CLAUSE was a signifigcant historical name. or at least a Popular Media name.

And I personally will be accepting to change my name if it comes down to it. I knew fully what I was getting into when I named my character. And that it may infringe on certain rules and I accept that knowledge as well and won't being jumping up and down in a fit of anger because someone petitioned it. I just want people to know that stepping into the realm of naming a character that is well known or copyright (I dont know if there is a past tense term for copyright i.e. copy-rit?) name is filled with a great possibility of being petitioned, so don't don't throw a fit about 'no fair why are you picking on me.' approach. Something to consider indepth. Zantaklawz

I applaud your commitment to fair play, I for one would not petition you, but it does happen.. saw a Snoopdoggydog on Zeb the other day vanish, seems he was summoned to 'CSHOME" cuz he was not reply to tells.. (thats what his group members told me) didnt stick around to see what he became.

BTW I have a Druid named "Kloro Phyll" soooo i totally understand.

I think this tool is used way too much. I got petitioned last week for pulling a train, but the person that sent it was not even in the zone when it started, so he did not even have a clue as to what was going on. Sony is only try to cover their butts by putting the copyright stuff in th EULA. Last I checked I don't work for Sony, and neither do any of you, so why make the game less fun for other people? After all, EQ is just a way to have fun. It is not the real world and should be taken very lightly. Anyway, from where I'm from, snitches get put in their place.
