Default yeah

after working w/ my ui and the offsets, w/ the way that remelio showed us this, we shouldn't have another offset problem again.

Props to u Remelio, yer da man.

Has anyone heard if SoE is going to patch to try and fix the offset problems Thousands of us are experencing??? I'd hate to do all the manual labor in doing the offsets to my UI just to find out SoE is going to patch a fix for this issue...

As it stands now its will take me hours to fix the windows that are moving on me cause im XML. challanged

Thanks for the explanation Sonavaa. Why SOE chose to gimp the negatives I'll never know. <sighs> I just chalk it up to another "feature" that they oh so love to add.

The more I read on Chonwaas's threads and see in game and fix, the more I think SOE didn't really gimp it on purpose......

A ton of things may have gone wrong
1) We, not knowing SOE's 'strict' standards may have failed by not being very careful in our image definitions/vs windows sizing.
2) We assumed a method of offseting guages which may literally not been to spec. (and have discovered a better way now) - which if they fix the issue the better way should still remain unpooched.
3) Someone may have mistakenly compiled a development standard setting into a released environment causing most of the movement issues, and may need to recompile without that setting (snap-to-grid is a great way to setup new art work without fussing with the pixel here mouse pixel here...but it doesn't work well when applied to the live UI.)

Over all, I think our Customs will be smoother/faster/less patch vunerable when it is finished, but I can't say I'm happy that I have to work it all out again, after I just got it running right....

EDIT: and how the heck do you spell guage? gauge? gage...ack gag.
