I've never myself experienced motion sickness in RL or playing eq. I have, however, seen several group members actually camp out because of extensive motion sickness to the point of vommiting. I'm just glad i don't have that problem hehe =)

Hehe, I know what you mean about the hieghts. When I was younger I used to go cliff climbing. I was the one paved the way up. Now that I am older I have a problem looking down from hieghts. I have been places in EQ where I get that vertigo and it messes me up.

Default What about NES?

Does anyone have NES (non epilectic seizures) while playing? I do and it's different than motion sickness. It feels like electric shocks going through my body or like I scraped my nails on a chalkboard... and I can't sit still and feel nauseous. Sometimes it makes me just completely zone out. Is there anything that can be done to help or am I never going to be able to play as much as I'd like?

Yea I get motion sickness when I have lev on in a small inclosed place. I also get headaches from lots of bright colors, which is why my UI is shades of gray with very little coloration.

Well Athame, you should stop playing until you can have this definately diagnosed by a spe******t. The reason is, it may not be NES but another serious condition. I would seriously recommend you seeing your doctor about this just to be sure. Good luck, good health, and bright blessings.

I agree with Zantaklawz, Athame. Not a good idea to keep playing without seeing a doctor on this. It could be something simple and easily corrected. Best not to take chances.

Are there any TV programs that do this? Or is it just video games?

There was a anime program which caused epileptic seizures in children a short while back. They removed it from the line up and the information was used to prevent future episodes from causing epileptic episodes.
