in the spellbookwnd file in the main screen
the titlebar style is mispelled as so:
<Style_Titlebar>flase</Style_Titlebar>
eq doesn't choke on it but my editor sure did =p
Also the <?xml> declaration should be the first item always. No returns, no spaces, no comments or anything should be above it, since quite a few parsers will choke on that, though once again not eq.
But these are minor nitpicks, the skin itself is easily one of the best out there, if not the best I have seen.

my player window
I love this forum, everytime I come here someone posts how to do whatever I'm picturing.
Also this skin is so great! For those few minutes after the patch this morning I was lost without it! I just haaave to know how much mana I have, down to the exact percent!
So today I decided to play with all the great ideas that were posted and I made this player window. I don't know xml so this is really just a lot of cut and paste of other great ideas. (with some playing with locs of things) But I think its pretty cool and I thought I would share it... and maybe ask a question since this is a vert thread.
1. This seems to be referencing a 'fatigueimage' area that is located right under the 'M' for mana in the tga file. But when I opened up the window_pieces06.tga in photoshop I didn't see anything in that spot of the graphic.
Now I haven't figured out how to edit tga's yet, but if anyone wants to make an S (for stamina) or and F (for fatigue) in the .tga file... then the stamina bar could have a little S or F next to it, and all would be right with the world.
I've probably explained that pretty poorly, so just ignore it if it doesn't make sense.
Anyway here's a little screenshot of my player window. If anyone wants to try it out you can download it too.
edit: pet health bar didn't work on 1st post, so it works on this one.

EQInterface.com inaccessible
What is up with EQInterface.com? I haven't been able to access it last night nor this morning. The link posted on the first page *does not work* for me.
Anyone else having problems?

Not pet HP's...
That peach colored bar underneath whomever is targetted is not my Pet's HP. It is different for me and my pet and doesn't match my pet at all. I'm talking about in the little window that is your current target. It also fluctuates in battle like crazy. It doesn't match any stat that I have on me. Just trying to figure out what it is. I think I'll take a screenshot and post it later so you can see what I mean.

lol... the peach colored bar represents one 20% health bubble, kinda like the blue bar represents one 20% exp bubble.

Ahhhh...
Now that makes perfect sense. Now the question is, where is my pet's HP's? Don't see it in the pure melee config or the wisdom config.

pet thing
yah I had this problem too... i think atleast in the player window codes i used, the pet section treated some of the code it needed as a comment (it was all greyed out). So open up player window xml and search for pet, and in that whole /gauge section put this there instead
<Gauge item = "Pet_HP">
<ScreenID>PetHP</ScreenID>
<!--<Font>3</Font>-->
<TextColor>
<R>240</R>
<G>240</G>
<B>240</B>
</TextColor>
<RelativePosition>true</RelativePosition>
<Location>
<X>16</X>
<Y>18</Y>
</Location>
<Size>
<CX>108</CX>
<CY>2</CY>
</Size>
<TextOffsetY>-50</TextOffsetY>
<GaugeOffsetY>0</GaugeOffsetY>
<Style_VScroll>false</Style_VScroll>
<Style_HScroll>false</Style_HScroll>
<Style_Transparent>false</Style_Transparent>
<!--<TooltipReference/>-->
<FillTint>
<R>0</R>
<G>220</G>
<B>0</B>
</FillTint>
<LinesFillTint>
<R>0</R>
<G>0</G>
<B>0</B>
</LinesFillTint>
<DrawLinesFill>false</DrawLinesFill>
<EQType>16</EQType>
<GaugeDrawTemplate>
<Background>A_GaugeBackground</Background>
<Fill>A_GaugeFill</Fill>
<Lines>A_GaugeLines</Lines>
<LinesFill>A_GaugeLinesFill</LinesFill>
</GaugeDrawTemplate>
</Gauge>
I made the change in my ui and now it has a pet bar and looks fabulous.
Also it is is perfect now because of that great tga fix (there's an adorable little S next to the stamina bar..thanks!)
anyway here is my player window xml, but its different than the ones that came with the original ui, so probably just copy that code into whichever you're xml using, over the pet section.

I love the Vertui. I want to change one of the items in the hotkeys to an auto equip area. Any idea how that would be done?
