FEATURES:
This mod is a complete graphics and layout overhaul of the entire UI. Windows have been redesigned from the base up for thematic uniformity
and data presentation, to minimize mouse travel, and to load proportionally when using the /viewport command. Windows have been resized
to fixed widths for an easily adjustable modular layout. Unimportant tool-tips have been removed. Retained tool-tips have been edited to reflect
common use. Column headers have been relabeled for consistency. Combat and other critical windows have been restructured with a minimalist
view while preserving data presentation needs in secondary windows.

No more silly tooltips. No more random font sizes. No more irregular button sizes. No more losing a button outside a minimized window border,
or having a window reset and blow up its dimensional proportions. You no longer have to be afraid to make adjustments to resizable windows
without being able to get it back "just so."

Best of all, there are no custom animations or templates files. The only required window is the chat window. This is as patch proof as it gets!

AA Window:
  • Tabbed AA auto-grant lockout to prevent accidental AA auto-granting.
Actions Window:
  • Sized to be interchangeable with the Pet Info Window.
  • Integrated Hotbar #10.
Bandolier Window:
  • Integrated hotbars #2 through #9 including identification labels for a total of 960 hotkeys.
  • Collapses to a fixed dimension to hide hotbars when using default or EQMain Window hotbars.
  • Drag and drop inventory slots with legacy right clickies.
Big Bank Window:
  • Displays inventory slots for all bank and shared bank slots.
  • Expands to display the full contents of 40 slot big bags.
Cast Spell Window:
  • Collapses to a fixed dimension to retain view of the book button for loading and saving spellsets.
  • Fully customizable horizontal, vertical, or tiled orientation.
  • Easy to edit keybind labels.

HOW TO EDIT THE KEYBIND INDICATOR:
  1. Open EQUI_CastSpellWnd.xml and CTRL-F search for “BEGIN USER TEXT EDIT FOR KEY MAPPING.”
  2. Change the lines "<Text>#</Text>" to match your desired keybind orientation.
Chat Window:
  • Overlapping input and output to be used in conjunction with the context menu “Always Chat Here” option.

HOW TO SET THE CHAT WINDOW:
  1. Make a new Chat Window or select an existing Chat Window to be used for primary chat.
  2. Adjust the height of the Chat Window to display a single line of text.
  3. Right-click the Chat Window titlebar and select the fifth option, "Always Chat Here."
Combat Ability Window:
  • Collapses to a fixed dimension to retain view of the cancel disc icon and running disc label.
  • Fully customizable horizontal, vertical, or tiled orientation.
EQMain Window:
  • Integrated hotbars #2 through #9 including identification labels for a total of 960 hotkeys.
  • Collapses to a fixed dimension to hide hotbars when using default or Bandolier Window hotbars.
  • Mercenary auto-assist and suspend buttons.
  • Audio triggers, mail, and options buttons.
  • AC, HP, and resist indicators.
  • AA and XP Gauges.
  • Compass viewport.
Extended Target Window:
  • Fully customizable horizontal, vertical, or tiled orientation.
Group Window:
  • Fully customizable horizontal, vertical, or tiled orientation.
Guild Management Window:
  • Single view access to the guild banner and message of the day to facilitate raid logistics.
Hotbar Windows:
  • Hotbar #1:
    • All-in-one endurance gauge with endurance, discipline timer, and OOC timer gauges.
    • All-in-one mana gauge with mana, spell scribe, spell memorize, and spell casting gauges.
    • Clicking the endurance and mana percentages provide easy access to the Spellbook and
      Combat Abilities Selection Window.
  • Hotbars #2 - #10:
    • Identification labels HB02, HB03, HB04, HB05, HB06, HB07, HB08, HB09, HB10.
Inventory Window:
  • Inventory slots contain custom textures corresponding to their appropriate /useitem command.
  • Mercenary functions have been consolidated on the mercenary tab.
  • Alternate currency has been consolidated on the currency tab.
  • Single view access to inventory slots and character statistics.
Loot Window:
  • Reverse tiled orientation to minimize mouse travel and facilitate quick looting.
Map View Window:
  • Includes background color toggle.
Mercenary Window:
  • Deprecated by the Bandolier and Inventory Windows.
Pet Info Window:
  • Sized to be interchangeable with the Actions Window.
Potion Belt Window:
  • Power source inventory slot for single view consumables management.
  • Fully customizable horizontal, vertical, or tiled orientation.
Raid Window:
  • Collapses to a fixed dimension to display groups 1 and 2 for small scale encounters.
  • Expands vertically to display all 12 groups for large scale encounters.
  • Single view access to the message of the day to facilitate raid logistics.
Selector Window:
  • Deprecated by the EQMain Window.
Target Ring:
  • Re-textured for high visibility.
Target Window:
  • Integrated target, pet target, and HoTT gauges.
  • Debuff slot indicators.
Tradeskill Window:
  • Drag and drop inventory slots for quick access to tradeskill trophies.
Tribute Benefit Window:
  • Collapses to a fixed dimension to retain view of buttons and indicators.
  • On / off toggles for guild and personal tribute and trophies.
  • Guild tribute and guild trophy status indicators.
  • Trophy Window button.

HOW TO FIX MISSING COLUMNS:
There are a number of UI Windows which contain columns widths inherited from the [character]_[server].ini file rather than the UI .xml file. This issue manifests
as the appearance of missing columns when switching from Default to Graphite. The steps required to move columns back into the visible area are as follows:
  1. Switch back to Default.
  2. Locate the offending column and drag the separator to make the column more narrow.
  3. Switch back to Graphite and adjust the column to an appropriate size.

SUPPORTED RESOLUTIONS:
1920px width
1680px width
1440px width
1360px width

The only window dependant upon screen resolution is the EQMain Window at the bottom of the layout. Please post modification requests for different screen widths.
No layout .ini is included in the download nor are there plans to include a layout .ini in the future. This UI is designed to be modular and customized by the user.

CREDITS:
Graphics: Combat state indicators with permission from AYA UI.
Windows: Chat window from Thoughtlover's Overlapping Chat Window.
Windows: Map window background toggle from Myxiplx's Tiny Map.
Windows: Reverse Loot window from Axeion's Hail to the King UI.

FUTURE UPDATES:
Group Mark icon for the Group and Player Windows.

Please feedback any issues. Thanks!

On Load

When I first load this UI, I see a few minor issues.

The merc button says suspend, even though I have no merc up.

When I go to my currency tab in the inventory window, I have to check "Show all Currency" before anything shows up in the window.

The aa and regular xp with the new ###.### format do not fit in the window correctly and get cut off.

2) The chat windows do not look the same.
3) Cannot enter any text even when it's set to always chat here.
4) clicking 'Scrollbar' in the chat windows option outright crashes the instance.

NM found the update here. Overwrote the files and all is well so far. Thanks for the work you've put into this. Going through your ISboxer guides as well which are fantastic!

I have a list from the patch notes of what needs to be updated; the illusions keyring, relocating the mounts keyring, and the changes to the Options Window. Unfortunately, I have not been able to play since the most recent expansion ... too busy with work.

I'll see what I can do in the very near future.

is there any way I could get your ISBoxer stuff? I just recently started using it and Im pretty lost when it comes to setting everything up, even after watching a lot of videos.

The font size in UI windows is hard coded. One would have to change each instance of text in every window.

Ahhh the old "adjust the column size" thing huh? Ok np, I can do that. You said up above here, to make the column "narrower". Is that right? So that would be the Quest Progression column and not the "completed" column right?

Also one more little question if you don't mind. These tired old eyes of mine just ain't what they used to be. I am using 1920x1080 res, is there anyway to adjust the font size across the whole UI? Like for instance the Buffs are real hard to read. I already know how to change font size in chat boxes.

Anyways thanks for responding and for making such a neat UI!

I don't know what EQui is, unless you're referring to the default UI. If quest progression is activated for a quest line and visible in default, it is also visible in Graphite. The column widths may need to be adjusted to see that particular column. Not all quests have progression tracking. There's no way to implement tracking for a quest line which does not have it activated by default.

There are actually two places: (1) Merc tab in the Bandolier Window; (2) Merc tab in the Inventory Window.

Very nice UI. Just saw it on your EQ post over at Isboxer forums and fell in love with it. Installed it last night and spent way too much time messing with it lol.

But one thing really stood out to me that was lacking. Do you think you might add a feature that is in the regular UI but I didn't see in yours?

That feature is quest progression in the Quest window. Allow me to explain. When you get a kill quest for instance, EQui shows how many you have killed,in this format, "4/10". I didn't see that in your quest window. Or am I just messed up?

Also, one question? I see the deprecated bar for the Merc window, but I didn't see where you can switch Mercs or set passive/aggressive buttons. Am I missing it someplace? It got kinda late last night so I may have missed it entirely.

The file structure should look like EverQuest/uifiles/Graphite_v2015-05-27.

If that doesn't fix it, you could very well have multiple installations of EQ and are saving the UI in the wrong installation.

The UI works fine.
