Check out the pet UI, its very clever if I dont say so myself =)
------

Veliouse UI for EverQuest by Fenrian.

This UI does NOT use a custom animations or templates file, so it should be very stable.
For screen resolutions 1280x1064 only.
This UI will generate a harmless xml error when loaded, see the read me file for details to turn it off.
Please read and follow the 'Read me' file for directions on UI installation and modification of the clickies.

Features:
Color changing health gauges for player, group and pet.
Integrated Hott
Integrated casting gauge
Fully functional and compliant through TBS.
All stats displayed with logical groupings.
Personal and guild tribute timers with personal current favor displayed.
Consistent placement of items regardless of class.
Integrated pet UI with collapsible buf list and scrollable buf icons.
1/2 sized old style buf icons.
Spell book bound in dragon hide with dragon wing parchment.

All of the imagery for this UI was taken from various Veliouse zones, mostly from Temple of Veeshan and Skyshrine. Everything from the background textures to the compass pointer is lifted and used here.

The logic behind this UI comes from my years of playing EQ combined with a rethinking of the UI needs for the various classes I play. I realized that the real difference in important information was not Melee, hybrid, caster. But rather Melee, caster/hybrid, Petclass. So this UI reflects this philosophy.

All 3 UI's have the following in common;
Minimalist inventory, bank and container mods (working aug pool). Color changing health bars for player, group and pet. Target gauge front and centered on top with target name above it. Casting gauge below target with spell name displayed to left. HoTT display below casting gauge. The Potion belt has been reduced to 3 slots. The Selector window is reduced to only the flashing mail button.Daytimer clock, many many thanks to Sylphan for the coding. The actions window has been reduced to 3 tabs with the social page on top. All 4 hot bars are displayed; the page left button is left off due to space constraints. EXP, AAEXP, and Leader EXP are displayed as a percentage. All stats are displayed except raid leader exp and current guild tribute favor.
The left dragon icon is the ooc indicator and changes color as follows;
Blue: standing at rest.
Gold: Medding.
Green: debufed.
Red: in combat or agroed.
Black: out of combat, but timer running.
The ooc timer displays to the left of the dragon.
The Right side dragon is the flashing attack indicator.

The group window entirely covers the player window, if for some reason the player window pops up on top, there is a 2 pixel overhang along the bottom that you can click on to bring it back on top or use the EQ button to close and re-open the group window.

Hybrid/Caster UI;
Mana gauge with current/max numbers as well as % display. Pop up pet window mod suitable for casual pet users. Pure casters will have to resize the middle chat window and place the compass wherever seems best to them since they have no item to replace the combat ability window. The combat ability window has 5 buttons. Endurance percentage is displayed numerically below the leader exp number. Large area about the gauges to target group members with mouse. The clasps on the spell book will change pages and the close button is the upper right corner.

Melee UI;
Stamina gauge with current/max numbers as well as % display. The Combat ability gauge is centered between the dragons and the ability name is displayed to the left. The combat window over laps the group window up to the level of the ability name. if for some reason you need to target a group member with mouse, click above the ability name to bring group window to top. The skill button and the ability icon bracket the compass. Clickies 1-4 are next to the potion window and clickies 5-8 are next to the mail button.

PetClass UI;
Pet health gauge is centered between the dragons, the pets name is displayed to the right of the casting gauge. the buff window holds all 30 bufs and is scrollable displaying 6 across and 5 down. A pop up window will list all 30 buf names in the upper left corner of the screen; this window is fully transparent and can be clicked through. to minimize or open the buf list, click the minimize box between the scroll arrows on the buf window. Endurance percentage is displayed numerically below the leader exp number. The clasps on the spell book will change pages and the close button is the upper right corner.

Various note and credits;
Major credit goes to Sylphan for the 5000+ lines of code to make the daytimer work.
Thanks to Smileyfaace for the map, I quote his credit here since I'm not sure who gets original credit; "Based on a design by Raxthorne Spiritwolf, original design by Aerasin. SmileyFaace modified this map Sylphan map window." I only removed the ToolTips and take no credit for this very nice map at all.

The following items can be freely replaced with standalone UI mods;
the Buf and song windows. The compass provided its default size(the charm slot and mail button share this image file, so beware of replacing Window_Pieces04). The map.The inventory, bank and bags. The pet window for the melee and hybrid/caster. The spell book. The spell icons. Pretty much all windows that colapse when you zone can be replaced.
