Window Selector files?
My Window Selector window has half the icons grayed out, its a minor annoyance, but it functions. If you move cursor over where the icon should be the button is still there you can click.
Window Selector is the lable on the window with the 10ish? icons for things from actions/guild/friends/mail/pet/etc/etc
My thoughts are my custom UI probably has a outdated file or graphic that if I remove will let the default patch it in and have my icons back.
Anyone know what files are related? I cant find anything labled Windowselector

Hmm lol I feel slow as I never looked for that, found it in the default UI aparently my custom already doesnt have it so should be useing the default version.
Any other ideas as to why half the icons would gray out?

maybe missing some of the icons in the windows_pieces files and compare them to the default files and check all of them to be sure they have all the icons that would help and if that wont then download another UI and see if its to your liking and give the blue infinity 2009 a test run!

Lol ive been useing the same UI since 2004, Blue Infinity is too..........blue?
So I figured out the Icons for the Window Selector window are split up between 2 files, half are with the graphics of the invetory slots, other half with the compass, my windowpieces4 has a compass but no icons! How do i fix that and retain the compass........dont want to change it.

Your UI has been out of date for years then, that change is that old.
But you need to edit the graphic file with something like Paint Shop Pro or Photoshop, and be able to handle working with masks. Start with your windowpieces_04.tga (I'm assuming that's where your compass is you want to keep). Then you'll have to add to that file whatever graphics are missing compared to the windowspieces_04.tga in the default directory, and the corresponding mask for those new icons so they show. You'll have to keep positioning precisely the same as the default file is.
It's not difficult at all to do once you get into it.

acdsee or gimp can help work on the graphics part but you can get use to the blue after a while thats why its called blue infinity 2009 because its blue and it can grow on you after a while just have to grow into it!

Could try another one...
Could try THIS .
I don't know if it works with your set up.
You also could look in your UIErrors file to see if something isn't correct.( doubt that is something related to this ).
I am not sure if the link/download is buged from last patch as I havn't checked it with default. But I am using it in my UI always have for years.
No issues for me )

From this I'm assuming the original poster has a custom compass he wants to keep, he does not want to use the default compass. Otherwise, since he is aware of the 2 files, he would have known to just use the 2nd .tga file where so many icons are missing.
