Farewell my friends
It has been an incredible ride with you all over the past 5+ years, but at last my time has come to put away the game and concentrate on the real world. Thank you all for the wonderful memories and exciting adventures I have had along the way. There is no possible way for me to personally thank everyone that has made this game more enjoyable for me, I only hope that in my actions over the years I too have helped make the game a little more enjoyable for some of you in return.
As for the Sars UI, I will be updating it one last time before handing the reigns over to a capable user to hopefully keep it going as long as there is EQ. Thank you for the thousands of tells, emails, and posts I recieved along the way encouraging me to keep up the good work. I feel honored that my creation has helped so many people enjoy the game a little more and I am proud to have been able to give something back to the game that has given me so much over the past 5 years.
Be good to each other, and never pass up the chance to help someone out if it is in your power.

Quitting I will bet will be very hard for you. Especially after 5 years. The game has an addiction to it, so I would bet there is a good chance you would come back at some point.
From what I can tell they do keep your characters for a long time in case you do play again after quiting.
I have quit and rejoined quite a few times now

Welcome to the boat Sars... I too been playing for just about 5 years too, and I quit about a month and half ago myself. Enjoy what life has to offer beyond the computer monitor!
