Hello, I am seeking a modification to the 3rd and 4th hotbars, to make them horizontal instead of the default vertical. I found a decent one in downloads, however, I am seeking one with the same dimensions as default if possible.

Make your own - can be done in Wordpad in about 2 minutes ...

The EQUI_HotButtonWnd.xml file is in four sections - one for each hotbar, characterised by elements marked with prefixes HB_ HB2_ HB3_ and HB4_.

Delete the sections for hotbars 3 and 4.

Copy the section for hotbar 2, paste it, and in that section replace all HB2_ with HB3_. Change the screen item name at the end of the section from HotButtonWnd2 to HotButtonWnd3.

Paste the section again. replace all HB3_ with HB4_. Change the screen item name at the end of the section from HotButtonWnd3 to HotButtonWnd4.

Done.

First, I copied the entire EQUI_HotButtonWnd.xml file to the folder that my other UI mods are in.

I then copied the default HB_ section to a notepad document. I then replaced all the HB_ with HB3_ and replaced HotButtonWnd with HotButtonWnd3. Also changed HotBar to HotBar 3 in the last section.

I opened the EQUI_HotButtonWnd.xml file as a notepad document, deleted the HB3_ section, replaced it with my new version.

Rinse/repeat with HB4_.

Loaded the UI skin.

No change in the direction of the hotbars. I must be missing something?

EDIT: Interesting thing here...I noticed that after I added the EQUI_HotButtonWnd.xml file to the folder that I have my other mods in, it cancelled out my player window mod. Had to delete the hot button file in order to restore my mod for player window...not sure what that's all about. Going to try to just change the default file in the default directory and relog..see if that works, perhaps.

(It didn't work, patcher overwrote the file).
